Following their successful collaboration on Dreamboats and Petticoats, Bill Kenwright and Laurie Mansfield will produce a new musical about the life of beloved British performer Cilla Black.

Cilla the musical is based on the acclaimed ITV series based on ‘Cillas early life written by BAFTA Award-winner Jeff Pope. This heart-warming musical will follow the extraordinary life of a girl from Liverpool, Priscilla White who became a bona fide star. By 25 she had become an internationally recognised singing star and by 30 she had conquered television hosting shows like Blind Date, Surprise, Surprise and many more.

Expect songs like Alfie, Anyone Who Had A Heart and Something Tells Me, alongside the music that influenced her including songs from The Beatles and The Mammas and the Pappas amongst others.
