HEDDA GABLER UK TOUR DATES Kate Moore: Hi Ivo, let’s start off by discussing what drew you to Hedda Gabler. Why this play, and why do it now? Ivo van Hove: Well there are a few masterpieces in the world of the theatre and I think this is really Ibsen’s masterpiece. But more than that, it’s also a very personal play. It was written when Ibsen was quite old, ten years after A Doll’s House, and you feel that there is a real urgency for him to write this. Adapted for the stage by David Greig with music and lyrics by Charlie Fink (Noah and the Whale Frontman), Dr. Seuss’s The Lorax is a brilliant riot of eye-popping colour, gorgeous puppetry and infectious music to enchant adults and children alike. Adrienne Warren to play Tina Turner in Tina Musical

Tina Turner announced today that Adrienne Warren will portray her in the world premiere of new bio musical Tina when it opens at the Aldwych Theatre on 21 March 2018. Adrienne Warren was most recently seen on Broadway in Shuffle Along at the Music Box Theatre for which she recieved a Tony Award nomination. She also appeared in Bring It On the musical by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Tom Kitt on Broadway and on tour and in Dreamgirls at the Apollo Theatre.
