Casting announced for return season of Dr Seuss's The Lorax

Dr Seuss's The Lorax The Old Vic

The Old Vic has announced the cast for its upcoming return season of Dr Seuss's The Lorax which will run from 15 October to 5 November 2017. The Lorax tickets are on sale now.

Simon Paisley Day reprises his role as The Once-ler with David Ricardo-Pearce playing The Lorax alongside puppeteers Laura Caldow and Ben Thompson. The full cast includes Michael Ajao, Joseph Alessi, Josh Baker, Jack Beale, Hannah Fairclough, Owain Gwynn, Wendy Mae Brown, Kirsty Malpass, Kerri Norville, Ellena Vincent and Silas Wyatt-Barke.

Dr Seuss's The Lorax Cast

Dr Seuss's The Lorax is adapted for the stage by David Greig, music and lyrics by Charlie Fink, directed by Max Webster, designed by Rob Howell, choreography by Drew McOnie, lighting by Jon Clark, sound by Tom Gibbons, puppetry direction by Finn Caldwell for Gyre and Gimble, puppetry design by Nick Barnes and Finn Caldwell, musical direction and arrangements by Phil Bateman and casting by Jessica Ronane CDG.

Following the season at The Old Vic, this production will transfer to Toronto with further productions planed for Minneapolis and San Diego later in 2018.
