Casting Announced For Death Takes A Holiday at Charing Cross Theatre

Zoë Doano, Maxwell Caufield  and Chris Peluso to star in Death Takes A Holiday at Charing Cross Theatre

Maxwell Caufield, Zoë Doano and Chris Peluso Producers have announced that Maxwell Caulfield, Zoë Doano and Chris Peluso will lead the cast of Death Takes A Holiday at the Charing Cross Theatre in January 2017. Tickets are now on sale. Based on the 1928 Italian play of the same name, Death Takes A Holiday has a lush, romantic score by multi Tony Award-winning composer and lyricist Maury Yeston, whose musical Titanic launched the current season of musicals at the Charing Cross Theatre. Death Takes A Holiday has a book by multi Tony award-winners Thomas Meehan and Peter Stone.

Used as the source material for the film Meet Joe Black which starred Brad Pitt, the musical is a soaring story of the preciousness of life and the overwhelming power of love.

Death Takes A Holiday will star Hollywood star Maxwell Caufield (Dynasty, The Colbys, Grease 2, Guys and Dolls UK Tour), Zoë Doano (Les Miserables, Harringtons Pie Shop Production of Sweeney Todd) and Chris Peluso (Miss Saigon, Showboat, Beautiful).

The rest of the company will include Kathryn Akin, Anthony Cable, Trudi Camilleri, Ken Christiansen, Scarlett Courtney, Sophie-May Feek, James Gant, Matthew McDonald, Gay Soper, Ashley Stillburn, Samuel Thomas, and Helen Turner.

Death Takes A Holiday is directed by Thom Southerland, set design by Morgan Large, costume design by Jonathan Lipman, lighting design by Matt Daw, sound by Andrew Johnson, choreography by Sam Spencer lane, and musical direction by Dean Austin.

Death Takes A Holiday runs from 16 January 2017 to Saturday 4 March 2017.
