Casting announced for Bodies by Vivienne Franzmann at the Royal Court Theatre

The Royal Court Theatre has announced casting for their upcoming production of Bodies by Vivienne Franzmann. Bodies will play from 5 July – 12 August 2017 at the Jerwood Theatre Upstairs at the Royal Court. This new play explores the human cost of surrogacy and what we overlook to get what we want. Laura Carmichael joins the cast of Apologia at Trafalgar Studios

Laura Carmichael will join the cast of Apologia alongside Emmy and Tony award-winner Stockard Channing when it opens at Trafalgar Studios in July 2017. Carmichael, best known for portraying Lady Edith Crawley in the internationally acclaimed series Downton Abbey and was last seen on stage in Jamie Lloyd’s adaptation of Genet’s The Maids. Laura will play Trudi, the American partner of Peter (played by Joseph Millson), who is the eldest son of Kristin Miller (Stockard Channing). Apologia will be directed by Jamie Lloyd. Peepshow delves into the complicated lives of seven characters who reside in the same apartment building in London. Andrew Freddie Flintoff joins the Cast of Fat Friends the musical UK Tour

Producers Joshua Andrews and Adam Spiegel have today announced that sportsman and television personality Freddie Flintoff is to make his stage debut in Kay Mellor’s Fat Friends the musical which is to tour the UK later in 2017. Freddie will be playing Kevin Chadwick opposite Jodie Prenger as his fiance, Kelly. Freddie will appear in the show in Leeds, Southampton, Sheffield, Manchester, Birmingham, Bradford and Blackpool. One of the world’s most recognised cricket stars, Freddie Flintoff won the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award in 2005 after playing a pivotal role in regaining the Ashes from Australia.
