Hot on the heels of the rumour that The Elephant Man starring Bradley Cooper is London bound this summer comes the report that casting notices for the London production of Kinky Boots have been released. The notice says that rehearsals are due to begin in July with first preview scheduled for August 21.2015. Kinky Boots has been a massive hit on Broadway and on tour in the USA. The show has a Tony award winning score by Cyndi Lauper, book by Tony Award winning writer Harvey Fierstein and is directed by Tony Award Winning director and choreographer Jerry Mitchell. Is Sleepless In Seattle The Musical West End Bound?

Following a hugely successful world premiere at the Pasadena Playhouse in California, the new musical version of the hit film Sleepless in Seattle could be on its way to London’s West End. According to the show’s producers over  $2,000,000 has been invested to date and to raise further front money financing they have established a crowd-funding page. Producers have stated that they anticipate completing development of the show in February-March 2015 with a view to opening the show in the West End later in 2015, and subsequently to transfer the show to Broadway with a world tour to follow.
