Emmerdale’s Natalie Anderson joins cast of Fat Friends the musical
Producer’s have announced that Natalie Anderson (Emmerdale, The Royal) will join the UK tour cast of Kay Mellor’s Fat Friends the musical when it opens in Leeds later this year. Natalie has also been seen on TV in programmes including The Biz and Wire In The Blood. She has also appeared on stage as Nessarose in Wicked (West End), Lady Capulet in Romeo and Juliet (West Yorkshire Playhouse) and as Tara in Exposure the musical at St James Theatre. Natalie will play the role of Lauren in Fat Friends – The Musical, a role originated on screen by Emmerdale co-star Gaynor Faye. At the interval and the end- especially at the end- the audience, which included a large element of young people, erupted with a spontaneous cheering, whooping enthusiasm- it was the perfect response to this enjoyable production.
REVIEW: Exposure, St James Theatre ✭
Exposure is so bland that ultimately it won’t make the list of great flops, you know those shows that lurch from briliance to being dire. There’s just nothing to recommend this effort at all.
