The UK’s master of farce Ray Cooney will direct a new production of his Olivier Award-winning comedy Out Of Order on tour around the UK in 2017. The cast of Out Of Order will include Arthur Bostrom, best known for his iconic role as ‘Officer Crabtree’ in sitcom classic ‘Allo ‘Allo as the Hotel Manager, Shaun Williamson (EastEnders, Extras) as George Pigden; Sue Holderness (Only Fools & Horses, Green Green Grass) as Mrs Willey; Andrew Hall (Butterflies, Coronation Street) as Richard Willey; Susie Amy (Footballers’ Wives) as Jane Worthington; James Holmes (Miranda) as the Waiter; Elizabeth Elvin as Nurse Foster; Jules Brown as Ronnie Worthington, and David Warwick as The Body. Further casting has been announced today for the revival of The Boys In The Band by Matt Crowley which opens at the Park Theatre this Autumn, before touring. West End musical theatre star Daniel Boys will star as ‘Donald’, Jack Derges, recently seen as the mysterious ‘Andy Flynn’ in EastEnders, will play ‘Cowboy’, Miranda star James Holmes will star as ‘Emory’, Midsomer Murders’ John Hopkins will play ‘Alan’, Primeval’s Ben Mansfield will play ‘Larry’, and Undercover’s Nathan Nolan will play ‘Hank’. The Finborough Theatre has announced that it will present Horniman’s Choice in September 2015 bringing together four one act plays from the ‘Manchester School’ of playwrights. “If Lancashire playwrights will send their plays to me I shall pledge myself to read them through.
