Hampstead Theatre have announced casting for their production of Michael Frayn’s Wild Honey which will be presented from 2 December 2016 – 14 January 2017. Tickets are on sale now. Wild Honey will be directed by Howard Davies – Hampstead’s Associate Artist and will star Geoffrey Streatfeild in the role of Platonov making his debut at Hampstead Theatre. The cast … Read more

REVIEW: For Services Rendered, Minerva Theatre ✭✭✭✭✭

For Services Rendered Chichester

I doubt anyone could hope for a finer, more delicate production of this great play. It is genuinely funny in parts, full of melodramatic touches which are not silly but insightful, and incredibly moving when the final scenes play out. Davies is at the top of his game here- this is a symphony of theatrical pleasure. It should transfer to the West End and play and play. Producers should not be fearful of a good old-fashioned triumph.

3 Winters at The National Theatre

There is a marvellous scene towards the end of Act One where Walker and Gulliford share the couch, both wanting to be there but both not knowing how to negotiate a new phase in their fractured relationship. Completely different creatures, but each needing the other to be complete. It is a joy to watch.
