On the 24 May 2017, the new cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child take over from their wonderful wizarding predecessors at London’s Palace Theatre and we are delighted to bring you these first look studio portraits of the shows new leads by Charlie Gray. Please welcome Jamie Glover as Harry Potter, Emma Lowndes as his wife Ginny Potter alongside Theo Ancient as their son Albus Potter; Thomas Aldridge as Ron Weasley, Rakie Ayola as Hermione Granger andHelen Aluko as their daughter Rose Granger-Weasley; and James Howard as Draco Malfoy and Samuel Blenkin as his son Scorpius Malfoy. Since premiering in June 2016 at the Palace Theatre, the show has won 22 major theatre awards. Tonight at the Olivier Awards 2017, Sonia Friedman celebrated as her productions won a phenomenal 11 awards. Since 1990, SFP has developed, initiated and produced over 160 new productions and has won numerous Olivier and Tony awards, winning a record-breaking 14 at the 2014 Olivier Awards, including the quartet of Best New Musical, Best New Play, Best Revival of a Musical and Best Revival of a Play. New Cast Announced For Harry Potter And The Cursed Child

The new Harry Potter And The Cursed Child cast has been revealed. Rehearsals began this week for the new cast who will start performing in the acclaimed hit show on 24 May 2017 following the final performance of the current cast on 21 May 2017. Jamie Glover will play Harry Potter with Emma Lowndes as his wife Ginny Potter and Theo Ancient as their son Albus Potter. Thomas Aldridge will play Ron Weasley with Rakie Ayola as Hermione Granger and Helen Aluko as their daughter Rose Granger-Weasley. Playing Draco Malfoy will be James Howard with Samuel Blenkin as his son Scorpius Malfoy. Harry Potter And The Cursed Child Moves Closer To Broadway Run

Harry Potter And The Cursed Child Producers Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender, together with J K Rowling have today confirmed that talks are now well underway to bring the record-breaking show to Broadway in Spring 2018. Exclusive talks are now being held with the Ambassador Theatre Group to bring the hit play to the Lyric Theatre on Broadway. ATG are currently planning multi-million dollar renovations to remodel, transform and reconfigure the 1900 seat theatre, turning it into a more intimate theatre with approximately 1500 seats. Friedman and Callender said “We are thrilled about ATG’s ambitious plans which will provide a once in a lifetime opportunity to create a unique theatre space tailored to the specific needs of the production over the play’s two parts. Harry Potter And The Cursed Child held an opening gala on 30 July 2016. Following rave reviews earlier this week Sonia Friedman, Colin Callender and Harry Potter Theatrical Productions, producers of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, announced that a further 250,000 tickets will be released for sale next week on Thursday 4 August 2016 at 11am BST, booking through to 10 December 2017.
