Rogue Shakespeare Brings MacDeth To London

Ryan J-W Smith as MacDeth

Critically acclaimed theatre Company Rogue Shakespeare, under the direction of actor/director Ryan J-W Smith have hit London with the UK premiere of their award-winning comedy MacDeth.

Described as ‘MacBeth gone wrong’ or ‘Shakespeare meets Monty Python’, MacDeth! (in which Smith also stars and directs) thrilled critics and played to sold-out (over-sold!) houses at the Hollywood Fringe. MacDeth was awarded the award for Best International Show, the second year running that Smith has walked away with the award at the Hollywood Fringe. His production of Love Labours Won, won the award last year.

Smith is somewhat of a Shakepeareanbuff having written and published his own award-winning iambic verse. Smith’s first 500 Sonnets were published in 2012.
