RED LADDER & CHUMBAWAMBA JOIN FORCES

Going back to our political roots Red Ladder is proud to be collaborating with Chumbawamba on this new play. A riotous comedy set in Northern industrial Britain with a mix of theatre, music, banter and action for an audience looking for a world beyond TV Talent Contests and multi-millionaires taking multi-million pound pensions in this winter of recession.

written by Dom Grace & Boff Whalley
directed by Rod Dixon
design by Ali Allen
performers: Harry Hamer, Dean Nolan, Jo Mousley
musicians: Neil Ferguson, Phil Moody, Jude Abbott, Boff Whalley

NORTHERN TOUR DEC 2009 - JAN 2010
To catch this show on it’s whistle stop tour visit www.redladder.co.uk

Come and have a laugh as Red Ladder and Chumbawamba get together to sing, dance, cajole, poke fun and point fingers, all against a backdrop of our nation's radical past.

Chumbawamba remain a fine example of radical and relevant song writing. Their live shows and album releases show a breadth of styles and humour along with an intelligent and contemporary worldview: entertaining, hard-hitting and thought-provoking.

Red Ladder is one of Britain’s most long standing and prolific touring theatre companies. Spanning a colourful history of over 40 years in the theatre industry producing challenging entertaining theatre.

Unsuitable for under 14’s

“ Red Ladder …………….reaching parts other companies don’t, won’t or can’t. “
David Edgar - The Guardian
