What I do... (Actor, director, designer, teacher etc?)
Theatre production and Headshot photographer
My Quick CV
Stuart Allen studied photography at Salisbury College of Art and Design. Since then he has worked in numerous spheres of the entertainment industry taking photographs. Shooting headshots of actors for almost a decade.

His work has also included theatre production publicity photographs, album covers, photographs of singers, bands and concerts.

He has had work featured in various magazines including Kerang!, Time Out and HiFi+. Numerous arts sections of national and regional newspapers and other publications including ‘Theatre History Explained’ by Neil Fraser.

Recent work has included photographs of the theatre production 'The Blue/Orange' by 'ReStock Theatre' at The Wimbledon Theatre Studio, 'Son's Of Bond' directed by 'Paul Hart' at The Theatre Royal Haymarket, 'Two' by 'Dream Shed Theatre' at 'Upstairs at The Fountain', photography of the blues guitarist and vocalist 'Larry Miller for HiFi+ and ongoing photography for 'The Theatre Royal Haymarket - Masterclasses'. This has included photographing actors such as Ewan McGregor, Alison Steadman and Dame Eileen Atkins. As well as this Stuart has taken numerous actors headshots for use in Spolight and Casting Call Pro and photographs of the 'Theatre Royal Haymarket' for use in the program for their new upcoming musical 'Marguerite'.
The thing that annoys me about our industry...
Funding for theatre or the lack of it and the hoops people have to jump through to try to get some.

Thank you, Stuart. I'm glad you are impressed by Rogues & Vagabonds. Does a girl's heart good. Or perhaps I should say a girl's brain as I've recently had a series of mini-strokes, which has pulled me up short!

Hi - Just got your message. I think the shots do go on the main page but it's only a random selection of the last few that have been added. This means after a week or so they won't appear - as new photos get uploaded (if that makes sense).
