What I do... (Actor, director, designer, teacher etc?)
Performing Arts: Music, Theatre, Dance, Circus, Choreography, Writing, Performance Art, Event/Show Consultancy/Casting, Teaching.
Visual Arts: Sculpture, Theatre & Stage Design, Costume Design & Making.
My Quick CV
I started circus life on Gerry Cottles Circus (UK), and went to to perform internationally in a whole bunch of circus / variety / tv shows & festivals, as you get the wonderful opportunity in the circus industry to do... including tours with Zirkus Roncalli & Le Cirque du Soleil.

International Prizes for own work (Aerial Cradle Act "Andrew & Jacqueline"):
* Festival du Cirque de Demain: Bronze Medal
* Monte Carlo International Circus Festival: Silver Clown, Cirque d'unvers, Greta Alesso award for most poetic act.

Stage Manager of performances in Theatre & Circus fields at Glastonbury festival for a few years. I have worked for over 25 years as a Freelance as a circus consultant / choreographer / teacher, offering a variety of support services to individuals and small companies through to large scale events. I also often design and make costumes.

I was an advisor to ATEC for initial UK performing arts NVQ framework (in the early 1990’s!), and have served on various national and international Circus committees supporting development of professional circus arts and also youth circus. I taught at Fooltime and Circomedia before setting up Circus Maniacs School of Circus Arts in 1995, and also running an international award-winning Youth Circus Company. I have also trained and choreographed many professional acts, some winning international awards, and occasionally am invited to judge at International Events :) Initially sponsored in 2006 by the UKti (Creative Industries) to develop international trade exchanges; in September 2008 I was invited on my 3rd trip to China this time by Taiyuan Acrobatic Troupe. My role was to work as consultant / trainer to help give an insight into western style training methodology and creative choreographic approaches.

Also, more recently I've started having immense fun exploring and creating in the field of Fine Arts, in particular 'sculpture' - so I think this will be come a bigger part of my life in the next few years – I have to make more time for it! (Pictures coming soon!)
